Pure sweetness...

I hope this worked...  if this video actually uploaded, I have Julie Wigle, my cousin (well, she's actually David's cousin, but I'm totally claiming her because she's awesome :-), but this should be the video that I spoke of yesterday, right after Grace was extubated.  This is just a small glimpse of what David and I call the "shakey jakes" (withdrawal)... but the wave and her attempt at blowing a kiss at the end, reminds me of why she is my hero!  She has been through more than I could even fathom and yet she is still blessing us with her sweetness!  Oh! and her little toot is a bonus :-)

There isn't a ton to update today, except PRAISE that Grace continues to do great (all things considered).  She got her feeding tube out (because it was making her honk) and while her withdrawls are really hard to watch, she smiles through them (the methadone has really helped to make the withdrawl a lot less miserable for her).  Will you please continue to PRAY for wisdom as to what needs to be done during surgery (try to repair her current mitral valve or replace it and if they replace it, with what...), for the logistics (that I can get out there in time once we get a surgery date, without having to leave Abby and Andrew feeling abandon) and peace as we wait...

As we (not so patiently :-) wait for a plan, these pictures of pure sweetness remind me of God's goodness and provision...

Smiling through the "shakey jakes"...

This picture made me super jealous because I'm dying to hold Gracie Doo...

So, I got to make David jealous by snuggling A and A...
It's all in good fun, I promise :-)

Village, your ongoing love, support and generosity continue to bless our socks off!  I seriously wake up in the middle of the night (almost every single night) and pray for you (our Village).  I pray that God would bless you, make His presence known to you and that He would reveal to you the impact that you are having on our family (as well as so many others, I'm sure).  We love you!!!
